Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in QSR or similar restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and runs to high standards using prescribed policies and procedures.

You will open, run, and close shifts, supervise associates, participate in hiring decisions, manage schedules, and maintain safety and wellness practices while overseeing cash handling and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years in food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service
• Requires minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
• Able to read, understand instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates
• Participates in interview and hiring processes and schedules
• Ensures shifts are covered and rest breaks are taken
• Maintains clean, stocked display areas and working equipment
• Operates cash register following cash handling policies
• Monitors wellness and safety practices and reports concerns
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices
• Maintains current contact information for associates
