Job summary

Restaurant 604 is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to manage daily operations in Hawaii. You will ensure guest expectations are exceeded and oversee opening/closing procedures to uphold quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include leading FOH staff, explaining menu items, training new hires, maintaining cleanliness, and handling cash/payments. The role requires reliability, English proficiency, and physical endurance for shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift pots, pans, and other items up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Must perform simple math calculations and understand units and measures.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of any FOH staff member as needed.
• Explain menu details including specials, prep method, ingredients, portions and sides.
• Verify that menu items are prepared to company quality standards 100% of the time.
• Train new hires in service style and standard operating procedures including safety and sanitation.
• Assign daily side work and running side work for kitchen staff to ensure efficiency.
• Oversee cleanliness of staff and report health hazards and code violations.
• Ensure servers and crew are checked in/out according to policies.
• Assist in staff coverage and adjust staffing as needed to meet demand.
• Communicate operational updates or concerns to management.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly per guidelines.
