Job summary

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations, aiming for planned sales and profits while ensuring guest satisfaction. You will guide staff, enforce policies, and uphold safety and service standards in a busy dining environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service, a high school diploma, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• One to two years previous experience in a supervisory role; preferably in the food service industry.
• High school diploma; some college or degree preferred.
• Must effectively communicate with employees, guests and vendors in person and by telephone.
• Must coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Achieve plan profit levels while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and guest payments securely.
• Plan and analyze restaurant unit manpower, training, and development of staff.
• Recruit, train, and orient new hires with the General Manager.
