Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in the United States is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, drive sales and profits, and uphold company policies to ensure guest satisfaction and a positive work environment.

You will lead staff, coordinate scheduling and training, oversee cash handling, ensure food safety, and participate in trainings to maintain ServSafe certification, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• One to two years of supervisory or lead experience in food service.
• Strong communication with staff, guests and vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing restaurant operations and manpower.
• Aim to achieve planned profit levels while maximizing guest satisfaction.
• Oversee cash, credit, gifts, and payments processing and accuracy.
• Train and develop staff, including recruitment and orientation.
• Support staff through scheduling and labor management.
• Ensure menu items are prepared and presented per standards.
• Monitor food temperatures for safety and quality.
• Maintain inventory and prevent waste in line with guidelines.
• Participate in meetings and present to peers and management.
