Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years restaurant experience, preferably in QSR or Fast Casual.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Read and interpret safety policies and operating instructions.
• Prepare routine reports.
• Speak effectively to customers.
• Perform basic math: add/subtract/multiply/divide.
• Understand ratios and percentages.
• Follow procedures and work with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while supervising and directing others.
• Serves as back up to team members and covers breaks as needed.
• Ensures food/beverages meet Yoshinoya specifications and safety rules.
• Trains staff and provides feedback, with recognition.
• Conducts performance reviews with the District Manager.
• Manages inventory and orders supplies; uses FIFO.
• Schedules labor and controls costs.
• Ensures cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintains clean facilities and functioning equipment.
• Recruits and trains new crewmembers; communicates with management.
• Attends meetings at corporate office and with District Manager.
• Travels to bank for change; may travel to other stores.
