Job summary

Yoshinoya America, Inc. is seeking a supervisory crew member to participate in daily food preparation, cooking, plating, and cashiering while supervising others. You will backfill breaks, train staff, and handle inventory, FIFO rotations, and scheduling to optimize labor costs.

The role requires strong English communication, at least 2 years in a restaurant, and adherence to safety policies. Occasional travel to other stores within the district is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years restaurant experience, preferably in QSR or Fast Casual.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and operating instructions.
• Prepare routine reports and communicate with customers effectively.
• Interact with customers and coworkers according to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates daily in food preparation, cooking, plating, cashiering and guest relations while supervising and directing others.
• Serves as backup to team members and covers breaks as needed.
• Trains staff and monitors activities with feedback and recognition.
• Conducts performance reviews with District Manager and issues disciplinary notices if needed.
• Manages inventory, store orders, FIFO and rotates stock.
• Oversees cash handling and bank deposits; ensures safety policies are followed.
• Travel to other stores within the district, up to 50% of the time.
