Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Shift Leader to provide management coverage during operating hours and supervise daily restaurant operations in California. The role focuses on customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and training teammates as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of shift supervision experience, can work flexible hours, and demonstrates a positive, friendly attitude while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Internal promote preferred who has completed all required learning zone training and certiications.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Comes to work with good hygiene.
• Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
• A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drink products according to standards.
• Operate cash registers and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and policies.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations.
