Job summary

Taco Bell in Fresno, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to provide hourly management coverage during operating hours. You will supervise crew, model fast, friendly service, and maintain cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, and speed of service to guests.

You will open/close shifts, train and coach team members, handle cash, and ensure food safety and quality. The role requires 18+, 6 months in a supervisory position, and flexible hours; reliable transportation and a positive attitude are a must for

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.
• Internal promote preferred after completing learning zone training and certifications.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Comes to work with good hygiene.
• Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
• A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and accurately take their orders.
• Prepare and package food and drink products according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change to guests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including back of house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and policies.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations when asked.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair employee treatment and compliance with workplace laws and regulations.
• Offers ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Assist with any safety concerns in the workplace.
• Reports any serious issues to their manager and HR as needed.
• Conducts food safety and prep audits daily.
• Conducts daily inventory monitors performance and shares responsibility for cash procedures.
