Job summary

Tender Greens seeks a Shift Supervisor to support the General Manager and Executive Kitchen Manager in daily front and back of house restaurant operations and guide the team. This role ensures certification across FOH and BOH positions and is non-exempt.

You will help provide an outstanding guest experience, train staff, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with the GMs and EKM on daily tasks, line checks, and service setup.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen and FOH experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, and motivating a team.
• Strong ability to communicate with a positive and outgoing personality.
• Ongoing current Food Safety Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM and EKM in daily front and back of house operations and train team members.
• Enforce safe work behaviors and safety standards.
• Roll out limited time menu offers and new items.
• Set up service stations (Salad, Grill, Carve, Cashier, Prep, Dish, Bus).
• Oversee line checks, food tastings, and pre-shift meetings.
• Handle guest complaints when leaders are not present.
• Support POS functions and catering orders.
