HAZA BELL, a Taco Bell franchisee in Hackensack, NJ, seeks a Restaurant Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team during your shift. You will supervise crew, ensure food safety, manage opening/closing, and uphold service standards for guest satisfaction.

You will train new hires, monitor performance, handle cash procedures, and collaborate with management to drive operational excellence and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality management degree preferred.
• Experience supervising restaurant teams and managing shift operations.
• Knowledge of ServSafe or equivalent food safety practices is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate restaurant crew during shifts.
• Delegate tasks, provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Greet customers, resolve complaints, and ensure professional inquiries are handled.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper storage and handling of food.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies to meet demand.
• Create and maintain shift schedules; coordinate with management on staffing.
• Train new hires on policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
• Monitor sales and expenses to meet financial targets and optimize costs.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and service teams to deliver seamless service.
