Job summary

HAZA BELL, a Taco Bell franchisee, is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager who will oversee daily operations during your shift, lead a team, and uphold guest service and food safety standards. You will open and close the restaurant, manage scheduling and inventory, coach staff, and ensure fast, friendly service while controlling costs and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and guide others.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant crew members during your shift.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting customers and resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Monitor service quality and address issues to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Create and maintain shift schedules; coordinate with management for staffing needs.
• Train new hires on policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
• Monitor sales performance and costs to achieve financial targets and improve profitability.
• Communicate with management and kitchen staff to align goals and operations.
