Job summary

TACO BELL in North Bergen, NJ is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to oversee the restaurant during your designated shift, lead a team of crew members, uphold high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service.

You will manage opening/closing, scheduling, training, and cost control while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies; a strong leader with flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising restaurant staff.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate restaurant crew members during your shift.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting customers and addressing inquiries.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling and reconciliation.
• Create and maintain shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Train new hires on policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
• Monitor sales and expenses to meet financial targets and control costs.
• Communicate effectively with management and collaborate with kitchen and service staff.
