Job summary

MOD Pizza, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during shifts, train new hires, and uphold MOD standards. You will be the senior squad member on shift, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

You will adapt to restaurant needs, coach teammates, and model MOD’s purpose in every interaction, delivering the best MOD experience on every shift while supporting the GM and ensuring consistent performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven mentor, trainer, or informal leader experience.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires and program rollouts.
• Ensure squad members are in the right roles and deploy resources to support guests and smooth daily operations.
• Maintain food safety and MOD standards in Back of House and Front of House.
• Address squad member and guest concerns and escalate issues to the AM/GM as needed.
• Manage cash within the shift, including making change and processing refunds.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed under GM supervision.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to execute requirements promptly.
• Stay updated via email communications from the Slice and other sources for squad effectiveness.
