Job summary

Taco Bell is looking for a Restaurant Shift Manager to oversee operations during your designated shift. You will lead restaurant crew, uphold food quality, cleanliness, and service while ensuring adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coaching, maintaining service standards, managing cash, and ensuring food safety. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant crew members during your shift.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting customers, resolving complaints, and ensuring inquiries are handled promptly.
• Monitor service quality and address issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards and proper storage and preparation of food.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Create and maintain shift schedules; coordinate with management for staffing gaps.
• Train new hires on policies and responsibilities; conduct ongoing training on service, food preparation, and safety.
• Monitor sales and expenses to achieve targets and improve profitability.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to deliver seamless service.
