Job summary

TACO BELL operates with a franchisee model and seeks a Restaurant Shift Manager to lead a kitchen and service team, ensuring high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

You will oversee shifts, coach staff, manage opening/closing procedures, and maintain compliance with safety and financial procedures. Strong leadership and multitasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the restaurant industry.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant crew members during your shift.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting customers, resolving complaints, and handling inquiries promptly.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards and proper storage/handling of food.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Create and maintain shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Train new hires on policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
• Monitor sales performance and costs to meet financial targets.
