Job summary

Wendy is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction. You will support opening/closing, supervise crew and trainers, and coordinate tasks to meet service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, multitasking and cash-handling abilities, with onboarding responsibilities in Workday. This full-time position typically involves varied day parts and potential location transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced service environments is preferred.
• Ability to lead and train crew and Team Trainers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures for crew members.
• Act as Cash Manager as needed, including setting up cash registers at open and verifying cash at close.
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure the restaurant is ready to open/close or rush-ready.
• Train, develop and communicate with crew and Team Trainers through huddles and manager meetings.
• Supervise crew members and Team Trainers to maximize retention.
• Coordinate and delegate execution of operations tasks while ensuring policy compliance.
• Ensure quality, production and service standards; maintain a safe, efficient environment.
• Onboard new hires in Workday.
