Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Shift Manager to support daily restaurant operations and lead a team of crew members and trainers. The role emphasizes food safety, cash handling, and ensuring customer satisfaction during peak periods.

The candidate will train staff, supervise shifts, and coordinate with management to maintain quality, production, and service standards while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising crew and trainers.
• Cash handling and opening/closing cash verification.
• Ability to train and communicate with staff during huddles and meetings.
• Proficient in executing daily shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations activities.
• Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures to crew members.
• Act as cash manager and verify cash at close.
• Perform walk-thru to ensure restaurant is ready to open/close and/or rush-ready.
• Supervise crew members and trainers to maximize retention.
• Supervise, coordinate, and delegate the execution of operations tasks and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures to “Delight Every Customer.”
• Work with management to ensure quality, production and service standards are met and to create a safe, efficient environment for customers and employees.
• Help execute shift-specific procedures according to the daily operations plan and maintain proper crew coverage.
• Follow up and ensure resolution of Voice of the Customer issues.
