Wendy’s in Lubbock, TX seeks a Shift Manager to lead daily operations, ensure safety and customer satisfaction, and support team development. This role opens and closes the store, manages cash and oversees crew performance during peak hours.

You’ll collaborate with management to train staff, resolve issues, and uphold standards for service and quality. The ideal candidate has 18+ years old, restaurant or service experience, and is ready to obtain ServSafe certification by training end.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 6 months or more of restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience.
• ServSafe certification to be obtained by end of training.

Responsabilités

• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures for crew members.
• Act as Cash Manager, set up cash registers at open and verify cash at close.
• Perform walk-through to ensure readiness to open/close and handle rush periods.
• Supervise crew and Team Trainers to maximize retention.
• Coordinate and delegate tasks to meet quality, production and service standards.
• Onboard new hires and communicate with the team through huddles and meetings.
• Address VOC issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain proper coverage with schedules and transfer coverage as needed.
• Follow shift-specific procedures and ensure a safe, professional environment.
