Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to support branch management in executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

Essential duties include opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, and assisting in hiring decisions. The role requires adapting to varied shifts and maintaining safety and health standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and policy documents and converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Assists management in supervising day-to-day activities of associates.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring input, staff scheduling and coverage.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness standards across the unit.
• Manages cash register operations and follow cash handling procedures.
