Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I (MGRI) to support branch management in tactical QSR restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards using prescribed policies and procedures.

The role involves supervising day-to-day activities, assisting in staffing decisions, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. Excellent guest service and operational excellence are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage, cash handling and customer service experience.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a unit.
• Participates in hiring decisions and staffing for the unit.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures health, safety and HACCP compliance and that displays are clean and appealing.
• Manages cash handling and POS operations following policies.
• Places orders, receives goods and processes invoices.
• Maintains up-to-date associate contact information.
