Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high operational standards.

The MGRI uses prescribed policies and procedures to make management decisions. The MGRI will work a varied and rotating schedule on site, covering opening, busy dayparts, and closing shifts to monitor associates and ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work varied shifts across opening, busy dayparts and closing.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards (HACCP)

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within a defined unit or group of restaurants or POS?
• Participates in interviewing and hiring input; proposes promotions or status changes to GM
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, ensures all shifts are covered
• Ensures mandated rest breaks and meal periods are taken by associates
• Maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas and ensures equipment is in good working order
• Operates cash register and handles cash following policy; maintains security of cash
• Monitors wellness and safety compliance; reports concerns to GM
• Performs Health and Safety activities as per Manager’s Guide
• Places orders and receives goods; processes invoices
• Keeps current contact information for all associates
