Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high‑quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. The role requires staying on your feet and actively assisting with tasks when not busy.

You will help monitor line operations, train crew, and support with office duties and scheduling to sustain high standards of guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Understanding and articulation of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety with hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front of house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration tasks (banking, cash handling policies, paperwork).
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained.
• Ensure sufficient supplies are available.
