Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to assist Branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant management operations in Alaska. The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high operational standards using prescribed policies.

Key duties include opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, assisting in hiring decisions, scheduling, and enforcing health, safety, and cash handling policies.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years in food & beverage, cash handling, and customer service.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within one or more units.
• Participates in interview process and provides input on hiring decisions.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures all breaks and meals are taken as mandated.
• Maintains cleanliness, stock, and visual appeal of display areas.
