Job summary

Zaxby's SPE Franchisor LLC in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking an Assistant Manager – Restaurant Operations to lead on the floor, in the kitchen, and at the counter, ensuring guest satisfaction and team performance.

This hourly leadership role reports to the General Manager and ownership. The ideal candidate will develop staff, manage schedules, uphold food safety and company guidelines, and keep operations compliant while delivering a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Available at least 32 hours a week, with flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership, organization, and people skills.
• Prior leadership experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Team: coach, mentor, and train team members; plan shift assignments; build schedules and provide feedback.
• Deliver a Great Guest Experience: ensure care in service and high-energy culture; respond to guest feedback.
• Run Smooth, Compliant Operations: maintain speed, quality, cleanliness; follow guidelines; manage records and inventory.
• Keep Things Safe: maintain safe workplace; report HR or risk concerns; assist where needed.
