Job summary

Zaxby's is expanding and inviting you to join as Assistant Manager. You will lead daily restaurant operations, ensure policy compliance, and coach team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Key duties include scheduling, shift delegation, performance coaching, and maintaining service quality and cleanliness. Strong leadership and a commitment to safety and standards are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 18+ years and valid driver’s license is not applicable here; leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively are essential.
• Experience in restaurant management is preferred and strong coaching abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including required plans and certifications.
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations.
• Provide ongoing training and coaching to team members.
• Create effective work schedules following company standards and local laws.
• Plan and delegate shift assignments including communicating expectations and adjusting as needed.
• Supervise, provide leadership, and coach team members to perform at their highest level and meet quarterly goals.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld.
• Communicate performance concerns to your General Manager and participate in performance reviews.
• Create and maintain a positive culture and healthy team morale through recognition.
• Handle and report guest and team member concerns promptly and respectfully.
• Ensure processes, policies, and procedures are followed during daily operations.
