Job summary

Zaxby's SPE Franchisor LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for restaurant operations in Winston-Salem. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the General Manager and ownership, directing daily operations across floor, kitchen, and counter to ensure a consistently great guest experience.

You will train and coach staff, manage shift workflows, monitor food quality and safety, and uphold company policies while driving guest satisfaction and team morale.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Available to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.
• Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong leadership qualities, organizational skills, and the ability to work well with others.
• Prior leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete required training including Assistant Manager Development Plan and certifications.
• Ensure guests are served with care and team maintains high standards.
• Maintain service speed, food quality, and cleanliness.
• Plan shift assignments and communicate expectations to the team.
• Coach and mentor team members and participate in performance reviews.
• Report safety, HR, or risk concerns to the General Manager.
