Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a scratch kitchen, retail tasting room, and a thriving Wine Club program.

You will drive exceptional shift execution, provide leadership and development for management and hourly team members, and partner with the General Manager to achieve restaurant goals and grow our Wine Club community.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leaders through feedback and performance management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to lead teams through change and maintain high standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall restaurant operations and departments including Service and Tasting Room.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding; ensure staff have tools and training to succeed.
• Foster learning and career progression through coaching and mentorship.
• Lead Managers through development and training initiatives; model Cooper’s Hawk values.
• Ensure clear communication and accountability across all team members.
