Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a scratch kitchen, tasting room, and Wine Club. You will partner with the General Manager to drive exceptional service, develop Management and Hourly Team Members, and advance the Wine Club community.

The role emphasizes people development, operational excellence, and alignment with Cooper’s Hawk values.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant or similar setting.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leaders through feedback and performance management.
• Ability to read, understand and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work 50-60 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall restaurant operations including Service and Tasting Room.
• Participate in hourly Team Member hiring and onboarding; provide tools and training for success.
• Foster growth by creating career pathways and development opportunities.
• Oversee training for Managers in Development and new Team Members.
• Lead with accountability and professionalism; model Cooper's Hawk values.
• Drive operational excellence and data-driven decision making.
