Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant Manager in Kenner, LA to lead daily restaurant operations and drive profitability while delivering guest-focused service.

You will support the Restaurant General Manager, coach Shift Coordinators and Team Members, manage inventory and cash controls, and ensure brand standards and maintenance tasks are completed on schedule. This role requires leadership experience in quick-service restaurants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of college coursework preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick-service restaurant experience, with management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation to influence profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory costs and perform regular inspections.
• Place and receive inventory orders and maintain asset lists.
• Oversee cash control and safety procedures.
• Motivate and coach staff to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Direct team toward efficient product preparation and delivery.
• Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when needed.
