Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive profitability and ensure guest satisfaction. You will manage a team of Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members, coaching them to improve performance and service quality.

Key responsibilities include inventory control, asset management, and ensuring adherence to brand standards while maintaining cash procedures and safety. Prior management experience in quick service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability influence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory costs with daily, weekly, and monthly inspections.
• Place and receive inventory truck orders and monitor assets.
• Ensure cash control and security procedures are followed (cash handling, safe counts).
• Direct and coach shifts coordinators and team members to improve performance and guest experience.
• Ensure efficient, accurate food preparation and prompt service within speed guidelines; cover Shift Coordinator duties when needed.
