Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations at our Kenner, LA restaurant. You will partner with the RGM to drive profitability, guest service and people development, overseeing a 20–45 person team and ensuring brand standards are met.

You will coach shifts, manage inventory, and support efficient food preparation and delivery, while maintaining cash controls and safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1–2 years of quick-service restaurant experience; management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation to influence profitability.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing profitability and inventory costs.
• Lead guest service and ensure clean facility.
• Coach and provide feedback to shifts coordinators and team members.
• Direct restaurant operations to ensure fast, accurate preparation and service.
• Perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
