Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in Metairie. You will drive profitability, ensure exceptional guest service, and develop a high-performing team across 20-45 staff members.

The role reports to the Restaurant General Manager and requires strong people leadership and operational focus. Success comes from coaching shift coordinators, maintaining inventory and cash controls, and delivering fast, friendly service within brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED is required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience; management experience preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and profitability to influence performance.

Responsibilities

• Directs restaurant team toward efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products for prompt delivery within established speed of service guidelines.
• Maintains and ensures adherence to cash control and security procedures.
• Motivates and directs team members to exceed guest expectations with fast, friendly service in a clean facility.
• Provides coaching and feedback to shifts coordinators and team members to raise restaurant performance.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary.
