Job summary

IHOP is seeking a General Manager to oversee the daily operation of a unit, ensuring top-notch guest experience and adherence to SOPs. You will lead the team, manage finances, and drive local marketing initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to mentor staff, and strict compliance with safety and quality standards. You will report to the Operations leadership and coordinate with support functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience or training or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English; interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; compute rate, ratio and percent; interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the operation of the unit.
• Implement IHOP Craft Training for all hourly employees.
• Achieve annual financial, marketing, guest service and HR objectives as per SOPs.
• Maintain guest relations and handle complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Recruit, train and retain staff; manage performance and coaching.
