Job summary

IHOP is seeking a General Manager to direct the operations of a unit and drive excellence in guest experience and profitability. You will lead teams, implement training programs, and partner with corporate SOPs to achieve financial and service targets.

You will supervise hourly staff, manage recruitment and performance, and ensure food quality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance across the unit, while maintaining high guest satisfaction and strong store performance.

Qualifications

• Leadership and coaching of restaurant staff to meet SOPs and guest experience targets.
• Strong focus on guest service, billing accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, and inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement training programs for hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
• Execute annual objectives for financials, local marketing, guest service, and HR.
• Manage restaurant floor, monitor guest feedback, and handle complaints professionally.
• Recruit, train, and retain staff; manage performance and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure food quality, proper storage, and timely service; maintain supplies and inventory.
• Maintain equipment and premises in accordance with SOP and regulations.
• Develop and maintain a safety program and enforce security practices.
• Prepare reports and complete required paperwork.
