Job summary

Taco Bell Portland SE Division is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to profitably operate the restaurant within Taco Bell standards. This role focuses on cost control, customer service, employee appearance, and building sales while maximizing profits and developing the team.

The GM will manage front-of-house operations, oversee staffing and training, monitor P&L, ensure food safety, and maintain a clean, compliant restaurant consistent with Taco Bell's image standards.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED; University degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be Serv Safe Certified
• Knowledge of P & L statements
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong skills in Communication, Leadership, and Conflict resolution
• Requires open availability

Responsibilities

• Work the front counter to ensure quality service and train employees
• Conduct meetings with team and management to plan and review procedures
• Develop and maintain sales; utilize local store marketing
• Monitor utilities, supplies and costs; analyze P&L and take action
• Develop and post labor schedules; adjust for volume
• Manage restaurant cash control and deposits; follow cash handling procedures
• Ensure health safety and cleanliness; maintain Taco Bell image standards
• Post promotions and manage personnel files; conduct performance reviews
• Attend District Manager meetings; perform administrative tasks
