Job summary

Taco Bell is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Portland, OR to profitably operate the restaurant following Taco Bell Corporation practices. You will manage costs, drive sales, ensure outstanding customer service, and develop a high-performing team.

The GM leads front-of-house and back-of-house operations, enforces brand standards, schedules staff, analyzes financials, and collaborates with district leaders to deliver top results and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED; University degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be Serv Safe Certified.
• Knowledge of P&L statements.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong skills in Communication, Leadership, and Conflict resolution.
• Requires open availability.

Responsibilities

• Work the front counter to ensure quality service and train employees.
• Conduct meetings for planning, training, and reviewing procedures and policies.
• Develops and maintains an acceptable level of sales and local marketing.
• Monitors costs and profits; controls inventory and reduces waste.
• Develops and posts labor schedules; adjusts for sales volume.
• Manages cash handling and deposits in accordance with procedures.
• Maintains health and safety standards and restaurant image.
• Maintains employee files and compliance with posters.
• Attends meetings with District Manager to review operations.
• Performs administrative paperwork required.
