Job summary

IHOP is seeking a restaurant manager to supervise front and back-of-house teams, drive profitability, and uphold IHOP quality and service standards. You will coordinate operations to meet budgeted sales, train staff, and ensure safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across the unit.

The role emphasizes team leadership, guest experience, and adherence to SOPs, with responsibilities for staffing, vendor relations, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to speak and read English; interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Certification through IHOP training courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop professional working relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, marketing, guest service and HR objectives as defined by SOP.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are in proper condition and compliant with regulations.
• Recruit, train and retain employees per SOP and operations plan.
• Perform reports and paperwork; ensure safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
