Job summary

IHOP is seeking an Assistant Manager to report to the General Manager and oversee front- and back-of-house operations with a focus on profitability and sales growth while upholding IHOP standards. You will supervise staff, recruit, train, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.

Responsibilities include executing annual objectives, maintaining guest satisfaction, and reporting accurately. Must be available days, nights and weekends; competitive pay and opportunities for advancement are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to speak and read English; able to write routine reports.
• Basic computer skills including email, MS Excel and MS Word are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise restaurant employees and manage front- and back-of-house operations.
• Execute financial, local marketing, guest service, and HR objectives per SOPs.
• Develop relationships with hourly employees and the franchisee organization; interact with guests to resolve issues.
