Job summary

IHOP is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead front- and back-of-house operations with a strong focus on profitability and sales growth. You will supervise restaurant staff, uphold IHOP quality and service standards, and report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include executing annual objectives, developing relationships with staff and franchisee, managing guest interactions, addressing complaints, and ensuring safety and HR compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to speak and read English; interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial, local marketing, guest service and HR objectives per SOP and operations plan.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hourly staff and franchisee organizations.
• Manage restaurant floor with regular guest contact.
• Handle guest complaints professionally to maintain acceptable frequency.
• Ensure recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation and security comply with SOP.
• Perform supervisory duties: recruitment, training, directing workflow, appraisals, rewards and discipline.
• Complete all reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain personnel files with employment and legal documents.
• Be available to work days, nights, and weekends.
