Job summary

Pizza Hut is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to oversee restaurant operations during shifts and support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) with sales and profit planning. The AGM will train Team Members, drive operational excellence, and prepare for advancement to an RGM role.

Responsibilities include leading Shift Leaders and Team Members, coaching, managing labor, inventory, and safety compliance, and assisting with staffing plans and local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years work experience in food service or related industry.
• CHAMPS Certification.
• Developing Champions Certification for 'Leading a Restaurant in Manager\'s Absence'.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the restaurant during shifts, and coach team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Perform hands-on operational work to train employees and model skills and behaviours.
• Demonstrate HWWT principles and use recognition programs.
• Assist in staffing, labor, inventory, and supplier relationships to support operations.
• Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure efficient workflows.
• Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllables; take corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in financial planning and in-store action plans with the RGM.
• Ensure safety, health, and company policies are followed.
• Maintain facility and equipment to company standards.
• Support the RGM in hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Contribute to local marketing activities and product rollouts.
