Job summary

Pizza Hut is seeking an AGM to manage daily restaurant operations during shifts and support the RGM in sales and profit planning, while implementing training for Team Members and preparing for advancement to an RGM position.

The AGM will lead a team, supervise staff, monitor labor and inventory, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate on local marketing and supplier relations to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent.
• CHAMPS Certification is required.
• Developing Champions Certification for Leading a Restaurant in Manager's Absence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the restaurant and motivate Shift Leaders, Shift Managers and Team Members; coach and train the team to achieve operational excellence.
• Direct hands-on operation training; respond to customer service needs and model appropriate skills and behaviours.
• Assist in managing labor, inventory, and supplies and develop the restaurant team.
• Supervise others and coordinate their work efficiently.
• Analyze sales, labour, inventory and controllables to meet daily/weekly targets.
• Assist in preparing financial plans with RGM.
• Ensure safety codes and company policies are followed.
• Maintain facility and equipment to company standards.
• Recruit and select qualified team members and assist staffing plans.
• Train and develop Team Members and Managers; provide feedback at all levels.
• Assist with performance management and progressive discipline as needed.
• Communicate action plans to the team and support local marketing efforts.
• Support new product rollouts and build relationships with suppliers and franchisees.
