Job summary

Pizza Hut in Michigan seeks an AGM to help manage restaurant operations during shifts and in the absence of the RGM. You will train Team Members and Shift Leaders, support sales and profit planning, and gain proficiency in all aspects of restaurant operations for future advancement to RGM.

You will lead the team, coach staff, monitor performance, and ensure safety, quality, and customer service excellence while supporting marketing and product rollouts.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school education, partial high school education with specialized training or equivalent experience
• One to two years work experience in food service or related industry
• Completion of CHAMPS Certification
• Developing Champions Certification for 'Leading a Restaurant in Manager's Absence'

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the restaurant by coaching and motivating Shift Leaders, Managers and Team Members
• Hands-on operational work to train employees and model skills
• Support RGM in daily operations and performance management
• Manage labor, inventory, and supplies; develop the restaurant team
• Supervise and coordinate team members effectively
• Analyze sales, labor, and controllables to meet targets
• Assist in preparing financial plans with the RGM
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and corporate policies
• Maintain facility and equipment to company standards
• Recruit and select qualified team members; assist staffing plans
• Train and develop Team Members, Shift Leaders and Shift Managers
• Provide feedback to team members and managers
• Assist with performance management and progressive discipline
• Collaborate with RGM on corrective actions and terminations
• Communicate action plans to the team
• Support local restaurant marketing initiatives
• Assist with new product rollouts
• Develop relationships with suppliers, franchisees and corporate contacts
