Jack in the Box is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations alongside the Restaurant Manager. The role focuses on executing the Service Profit Chain, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining food quality and safety.

The candidate will lead training, staffing, and development, ensure compliance with policies, and drive profitable results while representing the brand with integrity and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: Internal Promote: 1 year as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager; External Recruit: 3 years as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be at least 18; ServSafe certified; strong English communication; good math, analytics, organization; self-starter with initiative; PC skills; valid driver's license and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Internal Service: recruit, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees; monitor staffing and ensure training systems are followed; develop internal candidates for management roles; uphold culture and compliance.
• External Service: manage daily operations to ensure guests have an exceptional experience; train staff; monitor food safety and quality; maintain brand image and cleanliness; respond to guest concerns professionally.
• Higher Profits: analyze performance data using management information tools; identify trends; implement action plans to improve sales and profitability; manage costs and budgeting adherence; protect the JIB brand as a role model.
