Jack in the Box is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to uphold brand standards, lead a guest- and people-centric team, and drive daily operations with a focus on safety and quality.

This role involves staffing, training, overseeing service, and collaborating with the general manager to grow catering and local sales while maintaining cost controls and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management degree a plus.
• Prior supervisory/management experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of local health, safety and labor regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office; ability to schedule and manage staffing.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staffing levels and recruit talent per profiles.
• Train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance; ensure training systems are followed.
• Assign activities and tasks to team members.
• Assist Restaurant Manager and partner on increasing catering sales.
• Identify internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions.
• Recognize and reward employees; maintain respectful workplace.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and brand procedures.
• Oversee daily operations to achieve service and food quality targets.
• Maintain brand image through cleanliness, maintenance and service quality.
• Analyze operations data and implement improvement plans.
