Job summary

Jack in the Box, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the Restaurant Manager in achieving Service Profit Chain objectives and brand promise. The role emphasizes staff development, guest satisfaction, and safe, high-quality food service.

You will lead a team to deliver consistent experiences, manage costs, and ensure policy and regulatory compliance. The position requires strong leadership and hands-on management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred.
• Experience: Internal Promote – 1+ years as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager; External Recruit – 3 years as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 18+; ServSafe certified; English fluency; strong interpersonal, math, organization; self-starter; valid driver’s license and ability to travel to locations.

Responsibilities

• Internal Service: recruit, train, develop, evaluate restaurant staff and ensure staffing and training systems are in place and compliant.
• External Service: ensure exceptional guest experience, proper training, food quality, safety, cleanliness, and handling guest concerns.
• Higher Profits: partner with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational/financial performance, use data to drive action plans, monitor costs and budget adherence.
