Job summary

Pacific Bells | Taco Bell Franchisee is seeking a Restaurant General Manager in Madera, CA. You will lead a Taco Bell unit, drive profitability, uphold cleanliness, hospitality, and food quality, and model hands-on leadership across shifts.

You will train employees, oversee hiring, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and employment laws. A strong focus on coaching, scheduling, and guest experience will be essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preference for internal promotions who completed learning zone training and certifications.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cost categories (food, labor, cash, controllable expenses) stay within guidelines and budget.
• Drive sales growth by improving 5 Bells, CORE, speed of service, and food quality.
• Maintain adequate staffing for all days and parts.
• Prepare and conduct performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and AGM.
• Handle hiring for crew, shift leaders, and AGM roles.
• Coach and train team to achieve certification and performance levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with sanitation guidelines and laws.
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws locally, state, and federal.
• Keep environment safe for employees and guests and act on issues.
• Ensure preventative maintenance and report repairs as needed.
• Provide timely feedback to area coach on operating results; manage turnover.
