Job summary

IHOP is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee front- and back-of-house operations with a focus on profitability and guest satisfaction. You will supervise craft training, recruit and train staff, and ensure quality, safety and compliance with SOPs.

Strong English communication and leadership are essential. Two to four years of related experience plus a high school diploma or GED are expected, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to speak and read English; write routine reports.
• Basic math skills for inventory, budgeting and reporting.
• Ability to apply reasoning to carry out instructions and solve problems.
• A valid Driver’s License is required for company business.
• Certification through IHOP training courses is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for hourly staff to improve operations.
• Assist in executing financial, local marketing, guest service and HR objectives.
• Comply with applicable regulations and SOP.
• Assist in recruitment, training and retention of employees.
• Ensure supplies are adequate and equipment in proper condition.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and security practices.
• Complete required reports and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
