Job summary

IHOP is seeking a Restaurant Manager to supervise both front and back-of-house operations with a focus on profitability and guest service. The role emphasizes adherence to IHOP standards of quality and service and leadership of hourly staff.

The candidate will drive budgeted sales, develop relationships with guests and employees, and implement IHOP training programs and SOPs to optimize unit performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–4 years related experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Experience supervising hourly restaurant staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
• Assist in executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and HR objectives per IHOP SOP.
• Comply with regulations applicable to the unit.
• Recruit, train and retain employees as defined by SOP and plan.
• Ensure adequate supplies and proper equipment and premises conditions.
• Follow safety, sanitation and security practices as per SOP.
• Complete required reports and paperwork; perform other duties as assigned.
