Job summary

IHOP is seeking a capable manager to supervise restaurant staff and oversee front- and back-of-house operations with a focus on profitability and guest satisfaction. You will implement training programs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and SOP standards.

Under this role you’ll recruit and train team members, maintain inventories, and lead efforts to meet financial and marketing objectives while upholding IHOP’s quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years related experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Certification through IHOP training courses.
• Ability to speak and read English; interpret safety rules.
• Basic math and data interpretation skills.
• Reasoning ability to apply common sense in instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the achievement of budgeted sales and profits.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Implement Craft Training program for hourly employees to improve operations.
• Assist in executing financial, local marketing, guest service, and HR objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and retention of employees.
• Ensure adequate supplies and proper equipment condition.
• Maintain safety and sanitation practices per regulations and SOP.
• Assist in completion of reports and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
