Job summary

IHOP is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee operations at the Rhode Island location. You will supervise restaurant staff and directly report to the General Manager, focusing on profitability and maintaining IHOP standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities include executing objectives for financials, marketing, guest service and HR; building relationships with employees and franchisees; managing guest interactions and complaints; ensuring SOP compliance in recruitment, training, food

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively before groups of employees and guests.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives and tactics for the restaurant.
• Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with restaurant hourly employees and the franchisee organization.
• Managing the restaurant floor with regular contact with guests and handling complaints professionally.
• Ensuring recruitment, training, operations, food safety, sanitation, and security comply with SOPs.
• Carrying out supervisory duties including recruitment, training, directing workflow, performance appraisals, rewards and discipline.
• Completing required reports and paperwork on time and maintaining personnel files.
• Available to work days, nights and weekends.
